Hello, Not sure if anyone has had experience with this issue. We are cleaning out our aerators in our house every few weeks, sometimes more frequently and there is always a large build up of mineral deposits in there (most frequently in the bathrooms). Very Gritty, white stuff. We also have to replace shower cartridges frequently (maybe every 3-4 months) as they get messed up from the deposits. This has been happening for years now. We thought it had to do with our original Rinnai hot water heater that was probably 11-12 years old (regular flushes.) However, we had a new one installed about a year ago and the problem persists. We are still flushing the new hot water heater about every four months. Still nothing really helps. We have a friend who is a plumber but hate bugging him about this stuff and, frankly, he's as stumped as us, it seems (or he just doesn't want to deal with it, and I don't blame him.) Just wondering if anyone has any advice? Thanks.

Do you have city water or well water have your water tested is it just your hot water????
We are on City Water. Pretty sure it's just the hot water. House is about 25 years old.

I'll also add, though, that when I flush the Hot Water Heater, the screen on the intake rarely has any sediment/crap on it when I pull it out to clean it.

What kind of water heater? Tank or tankless units?
Adding a scale filter with two stages would be my direction but if there existing scale buildup in your pipes within your home you might be screwed. If never done this but have heard of pressurizing the water pipes and blowing them out at strategic locations. This is a long stretch but let's start with the basics.
Do you have a recirculating line or pump installed on your system?
