Thank you very much. My local searching has been in vain. No handles for splines exist. I assume it takes a nut as well?The splines on the valve shaft look pretty shallow, so the apparent use of pliers may have ruined it to the point a handle will not work. But you could measure the diameter of the shaft and count the splines to see if a local hardware store or plumbing supply house would have something that might fit.
Here's a handle from Amazon that has twelve splines, but it doesn't tell what the shaft diameter is.
