You guys helped me before to identify this brand. Unfortunately we switched to a Krowne 17-109WL. Went to install it tonight and not good. Its so corroded im not sure what to do. Thinking i should replace the lines behind the wall mount. Its going to be a tight fit though. Should i use an oscillating tool to cut off the existing nipple? Hopefully the pictures will tell the story.

we use stainless steel or galv washers stacked to create a spacer on the back side...maybe looks like the steel washers are gonners. So we always bring a variety of thicknesses to space as needed.
Then we don't use that nut or washers shown in your fourth pic.
I've never done it as a repair and with corroded washers, would need extra hands to do the project in a situation like yours.

Curious what do your eyes see thats different and no good? Looking around now i see lots of off brands make those wall mount kits. Are there different qualities of brass? Or just the machining in general is more sloppy and prone to leaks?

I’ve bought them before and they leaked. The nipples are straight thread. I’ll only use T&S but you’re welcome to try what you’d like.
