Hello, I bought my home recently and the second bathroom shower diverter valve initially worked, then slowly failed and quit diverting to shower head.
It is a 3 handle shower behind a wall. I have no idea what brand any of it. I was told the bathrooms were remodeled in 2011/2012 but I'm unsure if any parts have been replaced since then.
I watched many videos using a shower socket to remove the valve. This does not appear to have a socket fitting. The wall is tiled over and it looks like it was sealed with concrete. One person suggested taking channel locks and manually turning the plastic diverter to get it out. I don't want to break it off inside the pipe.
No idea how to get this out and replace it.
