Height of Flush Pipe in Cistern

Hello Guys,

I have a Macdee Elan Cistern.

I am not able to insert the Flush Pipe higher than 65mm into the Syphon.
To me, that does not seem enough.
With other systems I have done, the Flush Pipe goes up much higher into the Syphon.

Any advise on this, please?. Thank you.

If you get not much response it is because: We are almost universally all based in the U.S. so don't know your systems.
