We live in a mobile home and where we are we get a lot of severe storms, and we occasionally get ice storms and lose power. I installed a wall heater as a backup so we would have heat if we lost power. I’m a retired house painter and have minimal plumbing and electrical experience .View attachment 43698
This appars to be a nonvented heater. If so, I trust a
Carbon monoxide monitor is part of your new installation.
 
When I wanted to add another gas appliance to our system I put the T in the iron pipe, and I was able to lift the existing copper up enough to use the same flare. and the gas company flared a new piece of copper to go to the furnace in my shop. Is your new wall heater safe for continuous use in a living space? Be careful!
