epsom salt and hair clogged drain

The drain of my shower is not draining well at all. I can't fish the hair out because of the cap over the drain. I poured epsom salts to help break up the hair but it only clogged it more.

I looked up boiling water to help break up the salt and I am afraid that it drains too slowly for it to make any difference.

Any suggestions?

Just curious but where did you learn about using Epson salt for slow running drains?

Can you take a picture of the drain. It might be easier than you thing to remove it.
