It has happened , there is a 1 1/2 drain on a bidet . I live in Quebec, and a lot of French women like to use it after ***. I have installed many of them .

I imagine water pressure and temperature are very important operating parameters as used by the French women. Can a booster pump be installed if additional pressure is needed?

the way a bidet works is the women closes the drain , then adds hot and cold water to the basin via the rim and checks the temperature. the basin should fill up to about half way to the over flow. . once that is done she then turn the diverter valve to the spout. a gentle flow should come out of the basin about a foot. she then leaves the water running and then sits down facing the wall. after she turn off the water and open the drain.
You do not know how many times i have had to explain this to a women. every one tries to sit on the thing like a toilet.
Once women get used to a bidet they love it.
they all come back from France and want one.

I've been told it is proper just to straddle the bidet, rather than a full sit.
I spend 2 weeks in France and never saw one.
I guess they don't have them in their "Le` Motel 6's?"

All my friends swear by them. A cold water ****** doesn't seem fun to me, but what do I know?
The toto seat bidets that I’ve installed are heated, the water and the seat itself.

bidets are he real thing.
I have an electric bidet seat and non-electric bidet attachment on my toilets. I was in a house years ago that had the bidet toilets, as I was just getting to appreciate the wonders of bidets, and was too scared to try it. Didn't want to make a mess because it was a relative's house and as a bidet fanatic now, I really regret not trying it.
Is it possible that, if there is a failure of the wiring or possibly safety mechanisms built into the powered units, that an unsuspecting person could receive an electric shock?
