5/8" Sharkbite x 1/2" push fittings can't find

My house has the evil 5/8" CPVC gray piping. I want to adapt to 1/2" by using sharkbite type adapters. Where can I get them?

What’s the outside diameter of the cpvc ?

I doubt a sharkbite is made for it.

Here, match up your pipe OD to the size sharkbite yiu need.

A 1/2” sharkbite fits 5/8” OD pipe.

You want to adapt to 1/2 inch of what other type of pipe?

Isn’t your cpvc already nominal 1/2 inch size?

It's probably not CPVC but the old polybutylene. And yes SharkBite makes a fitting to go from that to regular CTS piping.

I always chuckle when I see CTS.

That is the code word I always used when I was taking a Company Time $#!t, on the clock while on the crock.
